I
do not usually do this, but I would like to share a music video that recently
has made an enormous impression on me.
This
is the most amazing, moving and breath-taking video I have seen in quite a
while! A perfect metaphor of finding love after a painful heartbreak, invisible
(because psychological) barriers we set up around ourselves and the way they
influence our life. And the thought provoking conclusion about who is in fact
trapped - is like a cherry on top. WOW. For me personally this is the art at
its finest.
Shout
out to Diplo for the music, The Weeknd for the falsetto in audio mix, to Ryan Heffington for the choreography, Daniel Askill for directing this masterpiece,
unbelievable Maddie Ziegler and - to my surprise - Shia LaBeouf for their
mesmerizing performance. Chapeau bas, Sia !
PS Dear haters of this video, on the wave of the recent discussion about a freedom of speech I would like to take the opportunity to say I find your outcry against this production and the pedophilia allegations ridiculous. Why don't you look at Maddie Ziegler as a young exceptionally talented artist? Maybe some other, older dancer could perform here but this is a natural reference to Sia's previous spectacularly successful video. And why trying to improve what's already working fine? Also, don't act like hypocrites, most of you love controversy, watching Miley's tongue, keeping up with Kardashians, etc. This video is not promoting pedophilia, don't you worry about those fuc*ers, they have their sources underground. As regards sick associations, mind that they say the tongue always turns to the aching tooth.
